Delivery and returns
How plants travel to you, and what your rights are if something is not right when they arrive.
Delivery
The available delivery methods and their fees are shown at checkout, and the delivery fee forms part of your total before you pay: nothing is added afterwards. Collection by arrangement is also offered from Kempton Park.
- Collection by arrangement (Kempton Park): you arrange a time with the grower, and the address is given on confirmation.
- Courier door to door (The Courier Guy): parcels are dispatched Monday to Wednesday so no parcel sits in the courier network over a weekend.
- PUDO locker to locker: the parcel is sent to the locker you choose at checkout, and you collect it there.
- Show handover: when a Clivia show or open weekend is on, your order can be collected from the grower stand at the show.
Live plants on arrival
Every plant is packed carefully for transit, but live plants can suffer in the courier network. If your order arrives damaged or in poor condition, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the plant and its packaging. We will send a replacement or refund the plant.
Cooling-off and returns
Under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of receiving it and return the goods unused. This cooling-off right applies to every online order; for a live plant, its condition is assessed on return before the refund is confirmed. Under the same section, the direct cost of returning the goods is carried by the buyer.
Separately, the Consumer Protection Act entitles you to goods of good quality that match their description. A plant that is not what its listing described may be returned for a replacement or a refund.
Refunds
An approved refund is paid to the original payment method through Yoco, our payment provider. Card details are never seen or stored by this site.
