A flowering-size Royal Gala selfed seedling that has already built into a 2-3 crown clump in a 20 cm pot. It carries a tall scape with a full head of salmon-coral, open star-form flowers, each with a striking white and yellow star running into the throat - a lighter, airier flower than the classic round-tepal miniata. The crown carries old dry sheaths that should be cleaned off after potting on. Grown from Danie's 2017 seed lot 1M17: the recorded cross is Royal Gala X Self. The mother plant is register 390, Royal Gala, a 2016 gift recorded on the register, photographed in flower that season.
